AI Governance

Our commitment to responsible AI: transparency, user control, and privacy-first design.

AI Principles

Dayze's AI systems are built on four core principles that guide every design decision:

🔍

Transparency

We clearly disclose when you're interacting with AI. Dayze Agent identifies itself as an AI assistant. No synthetic personas or undisclosed automation.

🎛️

User Control

You own your data and memories. View, correct, or delete any AI-learned fact. Delete your account anytime; Pro/Family can export data from Settings.

🔒

Privacy-First

User data is never used to train third-party models. All AI processing is stateless per-request. Data stays in your account.

🛡️

Safety

No fine-tuning on user data. Model outputs are not used to improve external models. We use established, audited AI providers.

Data Handling

Your data is never used to train third-party models. All user data stays within your account and is processed only to serve your requests.

  • No training on your data — Third-party AI providers we use do not use Dayze user data for model improvement.
  • Data stays in your account — Events, people, expenses, and memories are stored in your Supabase tenant. No cross-user data sharing.
  • Export (Pro / Family) — Subscribers and active Pro trials can export account data in JSON/CSV from Settings.
  • Delete anytime — Account deletion cascades to all data, including assistant memories and chat history.

Model Usage

Dayze Agent is powered by PHI and runs on third-party AI models via API. We do not fine-tune those models on your data. All AI processing is stateless per-request. We may use more than one provider over time as we improve quality, speed, and cost.

🤖

Third-party AI models

Dayze Agent calls hosted model APIs to understand requests and take actions. Providers process only what is needed for that request — no custom training on your life data.

📤

Stateless Processing

Each request is independent. Context is assembled from your database at request time. No persistent session state lives in the AI provider.

Memory & Personalization

Dayze Agent stores learned facts in the user's own database record. You have full control over what it remembers.

  • User-owned storage — Memories live in polaris_memory and polaris_learned_facts — your tables, your data.
  • View, correct, or delete — Use the correct_memory tool to fix wrong facts or ask Dayze Agent to forget.
  • Memory consolidation — Runs daily. Summarizes and prunes for efficiency. Original data stays in user tables; only summaries are updated.

User Control

You can manage your AI experience in these ways:

📋

View all assistant memories

See every fact Dayze Agent has learned about you in Settings.

✏️

Correct wrong facts

Use the correct_memory tool during a chat, or edit memories directly in Settings.

🗑️

Ask Dayze Agent to forget

Request deletion of specific memories. Dayze Agent will remove them from your record.

📦

Export all data

Pro/Family: export events, people, expenses, memories, and more in standard formats.

🚪

Delete your account

Permanent deletion of all data, including AI memories and chat history.

Third-Party Data

Notable people data (celebrities, public figures, movies, books, places, companies) is sourced from Wikidata — a public-domain knowledge base. We do not scrape private data.

Note: Wikidata content is licensed under Creative Commons CC0. Dayze enriches profiles for display but does not contribute user data back to any external knowledge base.

Compliance

Dayze is designed with privacy regulations in mind. We are incubated under IMDA Singapore's startup ecosystem.

  • PDPA (Singapore) — Personal Data Protection Act compliant. Data handling and consent align with PDPA requirements.
  • GDPR-ready (EU) — Data export, deletion, and purpose limitation support GDPR principles. We are prepared for EU users.
  • IMDA Singapore — Dayze is incubated under IMDA's startup ecosystem, supporting responsible innovation.
