Auto Day Score

Your day, measured by what you actually did — not just how you felt.

What is it?

The Auto Day Score is a 0-100 score computed from your real activity across Dayze. Unlike the manual 1-10 rating, this score reflects what you actually logged each day. It appears as a lighter, smaller number in your Day Stories circles when no manual score exists.

How it's computed

Events logged+5 per event, max 25
Check-in completed (mood/energy)+15
People interacted with+5 per person, max 20
Tracker check-ins+5 per tracker, max 15
Resolved responses+5 per response, max 10
Manual score 8+ boost+15
Maximum possible100

Where it appears

  • Day Stories bar at the top of the home page — dimmer number for auto, bold for manual
  • Expanded day detail — shows activity breakdown badges (events, checkin, interactions, etc.)
  • API endpoint: GET /api/day-score?action=auto_recent

Manual vs Auto

Manual scores (1-10) always take priority and display prominently. Auto scores only appear when you haven't manually rated a day. Both exist to give you different perspectives — how you felt vs what you did.
