Day Notes
Freeform notes on every day — autosaved, AI-assisted, and wired into your people graph when you mention someone new.
What are Day Notes?
Day Notes are per-day journals attached to your Day Card. Open them from the day view, write in plain language, and your note is saved automatically as you type.
They are separate from structured events or expenses: use them for reflections, rough logs, or anything you want to remember about that calendar day.
AI chips & parsing
While you write, Dayze can suggest structured actions from your text (for example events or tasks). Chips appear based on what you typed — tap to accept or adjust before anything is committed.
Names to review
When your note mentions a person-like name that does not match someone already in Your People (or a known alias), Dayze adds a short Names to review list inside the Day Notes panel for that day.
- Link the mention to an existing contact so future notes resolve correctly
- Dismiss if it was a false positive or you do not want a CRM entry
Nothing is auto-created: the queue is for your review only. The same kind of mention detection can run on Dayze Agent messages so chat and notes stay consistent — see the Dayze Agent docs.
Nicknames & aliases
If someone goes by more than one name (e.g. "Mom" vs their legal name), add aliases on their profile or ask Dayze Agent to run add_person_alias. Aliases reduce duplicate suggestions and keep search working across how you naturally write.
