Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Phi Digital LLC ("Phi," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Dayze. For rules of use, see our Terms of Service.

Our Privacy Promise

Dayze holds sensitive life data. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your Dayze data to train third-party AI models. You control what you share, what you connect, and when you delete your account.

1. What We Collect

Account & profile

  • Account: Email, display name, handle, optional profile photo, timezone, and preferences
  • Date of birth (optional): Used for day-age and related personalization when you provide it
  • Sign-in: Apple, Google, magic link, or password via our auth provider (Supabase). We typically receive an account identifier, email, and name; providers process data under their own policies

Life data you create or import

  • Timeline: Events, milestones, notes, day scores, trackers, and related metadata
  • People: Contacts and relationship notes you add or explicitly import (we do not silently upload your entire phone book)
  • Finance: Expenses, income, IOUs, and categories you log in Dayze (not your bank login credentials)
  • Media & files: Photos and attachments you upload (for example meal or event photos)
  • Assistant data: Dayze Agent chat history, voice sessions when used, and memories/facts stored in your account
  • Integrations: Data you authorize from connected services (calendars, email, health summaries, music, social exports, messaging bridges, and similar)
  • Location (optional): If you enable location features, we may store places or visit records you choose to record or share; background tracking is off unless you turn it on
  • Community: Pulse/quiz answers (individual answers stay private; aggregates may be anonymized)

Automatic / technical data

  • Device and browser type, app version, approximate network metadata (for example IP for security and abuse prevention)
  • Usage analytics (feature interaction, performance) — we avoid invasive third-party ad trackers
  • Login and security logs
  • Subscription and billing metadata from Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)

2. What We Do Not Do

  • No sale of personal data for advertising or data-broker purposes
  • No third-party model training on your Dayze content under our provider agreements
  • No silent whole-device contact scrapes — only people you add or import intentionally
  • No permanent storage of payment card PANs — Stripe handles card processing

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide, sync, secure, and improve Dayze
  • Power Dayze Agent and personalization using your account data and memories
  • Process subscriptions, handle purchases, and customer support
  • Send transactional messages (security, billing, product notices you can manage where applicable)
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms

4. Visibility & Sharing Controls

  • Private by default: Most life data is visible only to you unless you share it
  • Public profile: If you publish a profile/handle, fields you make public (such as display name or photo) can be seen by others
  • Connections: Content you explicitly share with friends or collaborators is visible to them

5. Who We Share With

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to run Dayze:

  • Infrastructure: Hosting, database, and auth (including Supabase / AWS)
  • Payments: Stripe for subscriptions and premium handles
  • AI providers: Third-party model APIs that process prompts and necessary context for Dayze Agent (providers may change over time)
  • Integrations you connect: Only the scopes you authorize
  • Email / messaging: Delivery providers for auth links and notifications
  • Legal: When required by law, court order, or to protect safety and rights
  • Business transfers: If Phi or Dayze is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data may transfer with notice where required

6. AI & Dayze Agent

  • Per-request processing: Context is assembled from your account to answer a request; we do not allow providers to train on your Dayze data
  • Memories: Learned facts live in your database records; you can view, correct, or delete them
  • Voice: When you use voice mode, audio is processed to provide the feature
  • Transparency: More detail is in our AI Governance Framework

7. Security

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Encryption at rest for stored data via our infrastructure providers
  • Access controls and monitoring for our systems

No system is perfectly secure. We will notify you of breaches as required by applicable law.

8. Your Rights & Controls

  • Access & edit: View and update profile and life data in the app
  • Delete: Remove items or delete your entire account (Settings → Danger Zone)
  • Export: Dayze Pro and Family (and active Pro trials) can download account data in JSON/CSV from Settings. Free users can delete their account anytime; we may expand self-serve export on Free later
  • AI memory: Correct or delete assistant memories
  • Integrations & location: Disconnect services and disable location features anytime
  • Regional rights: Depending on where you live (for example GDPR/UK GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or opt out of certain processing. Email privacy@dayze.com to exercise them. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights

9. Retention

  • We keep data while your account is active
  • After account deletion, personal data is removed from production systems within 30 days, subject to legal retention, backups, and dispute/security needs
  • Billing records may be retained as required for tax and accounting

10. Children

Dayze is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has created an account so we can delete it.

11. International Transfers

Dayze is operated from the United States. If you use Dayze from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the US and other countries where our providers operate. By using Dayze, you understand that US law may differ from your local law.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notified by email or in-app notice.
