Woody Allen

Heywood Allen, known professionally as Woody Allen, is an American filmmaker, writer, and actor known for films including Annie Hall, Manhattan, and Midnight in Paris. Allen was photographed dining with Epstein in New York after Epstein's 2008 sex offender conviction, attending social gatherings that also included other prominent figures. Allen has said he had a "friendly" relationship with Epstein but was unaware of his criminal activities. No allegations of criminal conduct related to Epstein have been made against Allen. Allen has separately faced his own controversies, including allegations by his adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow.

Born Allan Stewart Konigsberg in Brooklyn. Began writing jokes and gags as a teenager for newspaper columnists.

Allen dined with Epstein after his 2008 conviction. He said he did not know about Epstein's criminal conduct. Allen's own separate controversies have intertwined with public discussion of Epstein's social circle.

Married Soon-Yi Previn in 1997 (Previn is the adopted daughter of Allen's former partner Mia Farrow). Two adopted daughters with Previn.
