Victoria Smurfit

Victoria Smurfit (born March 31, 1974) is an Irish actress from Dublin. She began her career on Irish television before gaining international recognition in the BBC series Ballykissangel and the teen sci-fi drama The Tribe. She later appeared as Princess Vivian in Merlin and in films including About a Boy. Smurfit has also worked in theatre and continues to act in British and Irish productions.

Smurfit was born in Dublin and trained at the Gaiety School of Acting. She began appearing in Irish TV dramas in the early 1990s before landing her breakthrough role in Ballykissangel.
