Reid Hoffman

Reid Garrett Hoffman is an American internet entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and author who co-founded LinkedIn. He is a partner at Greylock Partners. Hoffman met with Jeffrey Epstein on multiple occasions, reportedly to discuss philanthropic giving and to seek introductions to potential donors. Hoffman visited Epstein's Manhattan home and attended at least one event at his residence. After Epstein's arrest in 2019, Hoffman publicly apologized for his association, saying he deeply regretted any engagement with Epstein. He stated that he was not aware of Epstein's crimes when they met and had no personal relationship beyond the meetings. Hoffman also acknowledged attending a dinner at Epstein's home with MIT Media Lab director Joi Ito, who later resigned over his own Epstein ties.

Born in Palo Alto, California. Earned degrees from Stanford University and a master's from Oxford University as a Marshall Scholar.

Hoffman publicly apologized for his Epstein association. He co-founded LinkedIn in 2002 and served on Facebook's board. He is one of the most prominent tech investors to have acknowledged Epstein meetings.
