Lesley Groff

Lesley Groff was Jeffrey Epstein's longtime New York executive assistant from February 2001 until she resigned in July 2019 after his arrest. Born in Dallas and raised in Plano, Texas, she graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas, later worked in New Jersey and as a Nordstrom salesperson, then posted her résumé on Monster.com seeking event-planning work. A headhunter steered her to an interview with Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein. For nearly 18 years she managed Epstein's calendar, travel, and logistics from his Midtown offices. She was named among potential co-conspirators protected by the 2007–2008 Florida non-prosecution agreement (alongside Sarah Kellen, Nadia Marcinkova, and Adriana Ross) and has not been criminally charged. Victims' civil suits and DOJ files describe her as a primary scheduler of appointments and flights; Groff has maintained she did not know of underage abuse. In June 2026 she gave a closed-door transcribed interview to the House Oversight Committee.

Born in Dallas and raised in a Protestant home in Plano, Texas. Graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas; moved to New Jersey in 1990, married in 1993, worked at an office-supply company, later sold at Nordstrom, and sought Wall Street event-planning work before being recruited in 2001.

Epstein told The New York Times in 2005 that assistants like Groff were "an extension of my brain," and that he bought her a Mercedes and paid for a full-time nanny so she would not leave after becoming a mother. Her name appears tens of thousands of times in released Epstein estate and DOJ document sets.
