Ehud Barak

Ehud Barak is an Israeli politician and retired military officer who served as the 10th Prime Minister of Israel from 1999 to 2001. He is the most decorated soldier in Israeli military history. Barak maintained a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein that continued after Epstein's 2008 conviction. He was photographed entering Epstein's Manhattan townhouse in January 2016. Barak has acknowledged meeting Epstein more than 10 times and visiting his island, but denied knowledge of any criminal activity. He also received $2 million from Epstein for consulting work through a company called Carbyne, a surveillance technology startup. The Daily Mail published photographs of Barak entering Epstein's residence and allegedly visiting an apartment building where young women associated with Epstein lived.

Born in Mishmar HaSharon in the British Mandate of Palestine (now Israel). Served in the Israel Defense Forces for 36 years, rising to Chief of the General Staff, the IDF's highest rank. Most decorated soldier in Israeli history.

Barak acknowledged visiting Epstein's private island but said he never attended parties or met young women. He invested in Carbyne, a surveillance tech company partly funded by Epstein. He was photographed appearing to shield his face while entering an apartment building near Epstein's residence.
