Daniel Louis Castellaneta (born October 29, 1957) is an American actor, comedian, and voice artist from the Chicago area. He has voiced Homer Simpson on The Simpsons since the shorts on The Tracey Ullman Show in 1987, and also performs numerous Springfield residents including Grampa Simpson, Barney Gumble, Krusty the Clown, and Mayor Quimby. He is a multiple Primetime Emmy winner for his work on the series.
